Individual and group therapy
Individual and group therapy services allow members to engage in a therapeutic experience by sharing their emotions/feelings with a counselor or therapist. The counselor or therapist gives members objective feedback to start them on a new path and to begin thinking about positive solutions for overcoming addiction.
Case management is an ongoing service that offers members support, integration services, education and housing. We do our best to get members back into their community while maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Psychiatric services are available for members if the MAT team feels they are necessary. Given that we are an integrated campus of services, the MAT team can refer members directly to our psychiatrist department where they will receive services.
Physical health evaluations
Physical health evaluations, health history and physicals are offered to members of our opioid or heroin treatment clinic Tucson program. Our Medical Director and Family Nurse Practitioner conduct a thorough medical assessment to rule out any major medical issues prior to writing their physician’s orders.
Regular monitoring and diversion
Regular monitoring and diversion are mandated by the DEA. Staff and nurses monitor and visually review prescriptions to ensure there is no sale of drugs at the site. Members who take medication home are subject to being called in. If called in, members need to come to the site within 24 hours with their medication so it can be evaluated. This evaluation is to ensure that none of the medication has been improperly used or tampered with.
